Big Walk Secret Ending — How to Get 100% True End

There are two endings: the normal Big Goodbye, and a hidden 100% true ending gated behind seven purple challenges. Here's how to reach both.

The Normal Ending: Big Goodbye

Clear all four towers (tutorial + Red/Green/Yellow/Blue) and the Black Obelisk door opens. Carry 6 blorbs to the Obelisk to forge the Black Key, then take it to the wall gate in the far west. Beyond the wall you walk a long distance toward the Black Sphere. The final zone switches communication off — no voice, only gestures and signals — and tests everything you've learned. Clear it and the credits roll. This is the normal ending (achievements Big Wall and Big Goodbye).

The True / 100% Ending

After the normal ending, post-game content unlocks. To reach the true ending:

  1. Take the Chairlift (unlocked at Green Tower) to the east-ridge challenge area. A purple door behind the east chairlift station opens.
  2. Complete all seven purple challenges to collect purple blorbs.
  3. Forge the white key from the purple blorbs.
  4. Return to the small black sphere back in the tutorial / map area and trigger the ending. This is the 100% true ending (achievements Big Game and Big Pack).

The Seven Purple Challenges

These are the gate to 100%. Several forbid speech, so pre-agree gestures during the main towers:

  • Wait 30 Minutes House — lock yourself in and wait (easiest).
  • Golf — daisy-chain a ball from the Red-section golf course to the east hole; hand-to-hand only.
  • 36 Drawings — a We Were Here-style grid: one watches, one places, with precise description.
  • 9 Speakers But You Can't Talk — memorise nine speaker positions and signal by gesture (widely considered hardest).
  • 9 Symbols But You Can't Talk — the same gesture system, simplified.
  • Platforming, But Do It Fast — a timed run with an egg timer and human-stack jumps.
  • Many Lights Everywhere — one reads light positions (red only), one presses buttons, using 1-flash = yes / 2-flash = no.

Tips for the Purple Run

  • Do 9 Symbols before 9 Speakers — it teaches the same gesture language at lower stakes.
  • The challenge area is reach only via the chairlift, so Green Tower is effectively required first.
  • Stacking (see over the wall) helps in the platforming challenge.

The normal ending is achievable by any group. The 100% route assumes you've finished the main story and are comfortable with no-communication puzzles.
