How to Get Over the Wall in Big Walk — Stacking

Stuck at a wall or a too-high switch? Big Walk's answer is almost always the same: stack up. Here's the verified method and what's still uncertain.

The Main Method: Stacking

The reliable way to get over a wall or reach a high switch is to stack players on top of each other — "we have to stack on top of each other." One player plants at the base, the others climb up in turn, and the top player hits the switch or clears the ledge. This is verified across multiple gameplay videos and is taught as early as the tutorial's second blorb puzzle.

Stacking Tips

  • The bottom player stays put; everyone else climbs in sequence.
  • The top player does the action (hit the switch, hop the ledge).
  • Always check for a closer button — several puzzles hide an easier route near the base, so stacking isn't always needed.
  • Stacking also feeds the platforming purple challenge (human-stack jumps).

Other Ways Up

Beyond stacking, two more routes appear in the community's notes:

  • Shortcuts — easily missed bonus routes that can require a stack or a tool to trigger; they're yours to discover, not marked on a HUD.
  • Climbing Pick — a tool described in some secondary sources as letting you climb cliffs and steep slopes vertically. It has not appeared in released gameplay footage and is unverified; treat it as unconfirmed until seen in-game.

Two things are still being documented: (1) the specific walls players hit (tutorial, world boundary, or inside a tower) — "the wall" isn't one fixed object; and (2) how 2- or 3-player groups handle high walls, since the verified stacks are 4-player scenes. We'll update when smaller-group methods are confirmed.
