What the Purple Challenges Are
The Purple Challenges are seven post-game puzzles that unlock only after you've beaten the game once. They're the gate to the 100% true ending, so they're worth doing even if you're "done." They live in the east-ridge challenge area — reached via the Green Tower chairlift (another reason Green is second on the route).
How to Reach the East-Ridge Area
- Beat the game (4 towers + Big Goodbye) to trigger post-game.
- Return to Green Tower and take the Chairlift up.
- Follow the ridge east to the challenge zone — the seven puzzles are spread along it.
The Seven Purple Challenges
Ordered roughly by difficulty (easiest first):
- Wait 30 Minutes House — easiest; lock in and wait.
- 9 Symbols But You Can't Talk — a gesture primer.
- Golf — daisy-chain a ball across the map.
- 36 Drawings — describe-and-place grid.
- Many Lights Everywhere — binary yes/no signalling.
- Platforming, But Do It Fast — timed human-stack run.
- 9 Speakers But You Can't Talk — hardest; memorise and gesture.
Co-Op Mechanic: No Talking
The purple set is where Big Walk removes speech almost entirely. You signal by hand, light and memory. Pre-agree a gesture vocabulary and use the laser pointer to direct attention — the same skills Blue Tower drills, turned up to maximum.
Difficulty Ranking
- Easy: Wait 30 Minutes House.
- Medium: 9 Symbols, Golf.
- Hard: 36 Drawings, Many Lights, Platforming Fast.
- Hardest: 9 Speakers But You Can't Talk.
