Big Walk on Switch 2

Big Walk is on Nintendo Switch 2 with full crossplay, play-anywhere handheld or docked, and online co-op. Here's what Switch 2 players should know.

What the Switch 2 Version Is

Big Walk on Switch 2 is the Nintendo build, released Aug 4, 2026. Same co-op-only game as Steam and PS5 — 2–12 player online co-op in one crossplay version, no single-player mode.

Crossplay & Online Co-Op

Switch 2 players share sessions with friends on Steam (PC/Mac) and PS5. Co-op is online only; there's no local split-screen, so two people in the same room each need their own console and copy. Our crossplay guide explains the join flow.

Handheld & Docked Play

The Switch 2 version plays handheld, tabletop, or docked to a TV — your co-op walkabout goes wherever the console goes. You'll use the Joy-Con or Pro Controller; there's no keyboard/mouse on Switch. See our controls guide for inputs.

How to Buy

  1. Open the Nintendo eShop and search Big Walk.
  2. Buy it (one-time purchase, $19.99; regional pricing varies).
  3. Download, launch, and start or join a co-op session.

Is the Switch 2 Version Right for You?

If you want Big Walk on the go — handheld co-op on a commute or docked on the living-room TV — Switch 2 is the portable pick, and crossplay keeps you with PC/PS5 friends. Compare with Steam and PS5, or read the full where-to-play overview.

Switch 2 version confirmed in the official launch materials. Big Walk is co-op only — no single-player mode, no local split-screen.
